Here are some of the most frequently asked questions for wedding flowers

How far in advance should I book my wedding Florist?

I would recommend booking at least nine months in advance, longer if you can. I'm already taking bookings for the next year and the year after that. Good suppliers get booked up quickly.

How much do wedding flowers usually cost? Is there a minimum budget?

On average, couples spend 10-15% of their wedding budget on their wedding flowers. This will very much depend on the size of your wedding and whether you are having large statement pieces, such as flower arches etc.

Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?

Yes - this is because I am a studio florist, specialising in weddings. My minimum spend is £900.

What is your booking process?

When you enquire, if I am available for your date, we can arrange a phone call (or video call if you prefer) to chat through your wedding plans. Following that I will provide you with an itemised proposal, broken down item by item. I will also create you a mood board of flower suggestions. Once you are happy with everything and would like to go ahead, I ask for a 10% booking fee to secure your date with me. The booking fee will be deducted from your final balance. Your balance is payable four weeks before your wedding date. Between booking and your wedding date we often have various correspondence to talk about your wedding flowers. Usually about eight weeks before your wedding we will have another phone call or video chat to talk through the details of the day.

Do we need to pay a deposit to secure you for our wedding?

Yes, a booking fee is required to secure me for your date. This is usually 10% of your quoted total. This is deducted from your final balance.

Do you practice sustainable floristry?

Where possible we are sustainable as we can be. It’s not always easy to be sustainable and it can be more expensive in some cases, but I do try to use less floral foam and no floral foam where possible.

Do you work with fresh or artificial blooms?

I only work with fresh flowers and foliage.

Where do you buy your flowers from?

I use various incredible wholesalers, who have access to growers and suppliers from all over the world. We also use British flowers and foliage where possible, depending on availability and seasonality.
